Conditions: Gray skies, high visibility, low to moderate winds, warmer than average temps, snow falling, dust on crust, left over pow, soft groomers, and everything else in between.
Flex: This is a fully directional middle of the road all mountain freeride flex. You get a little more play in the nose it stiffens up right before the front insert back to the tail and has a lot of torsional flex.
Stability: The nose gets some chatter in it and you feel that under the front foot. The middle of the board is the most stable but when you speed run through a iced over chunder field of death you feel everything, while on a groomer this is non existent. Overall it’s stable to a point but always be aware that you’ll need to keep your knees bent.
Ollies/Pop: The setback camber gives this board good pop. It has a relatively easy load and lets you snap off the tail with ease. When you’re popping a sidehit, pillow popper, or snow feature you can boost. If you want to get in the air go for it.
Butterability: This board is highly butterable. The rocker in the nose gives it a good platform for locking into presses and playing around. You can do just about any butter variation on this board and while it does retain a little bit of its snap it’s not overwhelming.
Carving: This board turns. It has a smooth and predictable edge to edge transmission that makes it feel like a board you’ve ridden a 100 times whether it’s your first day or 300th. On edge it feels locked in and minimal ankle flexion can change the dynamic of how it turns. When you crank the back knee into the center of the camber and push off the tail you get power out of your turn. Laying it over is super easy and require little to no effort. This board can carve when you want it to or just be a mellow cruiser when you need it to be.
Rider in Mind: All mountain resort rider that wants a freeride board they can freestyle with.
Personal Thoughts: This board is always a blast to get on. The shape, flex, sidecut, and camber profile just work together for a highly predictable ride. It cruises with ease and rips a carve when you need it to. Overall it’s a fun board for getting around the mountain and doesn’t limit you to just one aspect of riding. It’s almost a Swiss Army Knife of all mountain freeride if you will.

Rad dad here – park days are over. The amount i do is not worth mentioning or getting a board for.
Currently have an old Ross. One LF that is more flat than anything and need a new board. I ride resorts with the family so no sick backcountry or anything like that. I do however prefer to explore, carve, search for leftover pow, ride trees and jump a bit off natural stuff and a bit of buttering. So im guessing i need an allmountain board that allows me to not bring my a game at all times – and currently I have dialed it down to the following.:
Rome Ravine, Ride Superpig, K2 Passport, YES PYL unic, Capita Mercury and YES Hybrid.
Im 185LBS and 9.5 US. IS there a standout you would pick? Thanks.

Is this softer or stiffer than the Dynamo?
Similar for the most part except in the nose, there it’s a little softer.
Cool! The dynamo is damp, but does the Ravine just get chattery at speeds, but still stable?
Yeah it gets chatter in it and it’s damp to a point underfoot.
I am using this for my big mountain board.. 5’9″ 165/170lbs … 155 sounds ideal?
