Conditions: Sunny bluebird skies, cooler temps, mild wind gusts, ice, chop, chunder, and hero snow.

Flex: This board has a middle of the road all mountain freestyle flex which is pretty standard for decks like this. So you can expect more flex in the tips where the rocker section is then it progressively stiffens up where the rocker meets the camber through the middle of the board where it gets soft again. The torsional flex is there and very noticeable.

Stability: Surprisingly for what this board is, it’s very stable. You get some kinetic vibrations underfoot that are resonating back from the tips, but what you don’t get is a ton of tip flap at high speeds it just stays locked down. In rutted out terrain it pretty much crushes through any chop with ease and unless you blindly slam into something you’re going to be fine and not get bucked around.

Ollies: The camber section will need to be loaded up but it’s not overly aggressive so that makes it easy to engage. When you roll back on the rocker section it snaps and gets you in the air. If you can ollie, awesome, if you can’t this will help you progress.

Pop On Jumps: For what it is it can handle jumps. I would stick to small and medium ones just due to the flex and what this board is. With that said it pops off the lip with relative ease and does what you need it to do.

Butterability: This thing locks into butters due to the rocker section in the tips. You can just sit with your weight outside the bindings and feel it hold the press. So get weird and do what you want, just be aware of the rebound from the camber section which will pop you out.

Jibbing: This thing was fun on jibs. It locks in to a press and holds it but snaps out when you need it to. When you go sideways the center flex is great for cradling the feature and just contours around it with ease.

Carving: Surprisingly yet again this board can carve well. It turns efficiently from right under foot. You roll from edge to edge with little effort and it has enough power to drive off the tail. Now can you lay it over all the time? No, but when you want to impress someone with your skills it won’t hold you back. Sure there’s some limitations with it but by and large it turns well with a consistent feel.

Rider in Mind: Progressing rider that doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Personal Thoughts: This board was really good for what it is. Sure I’m way beyond riding something like this but it blew me away with how well it rode, to the point it shouldn’t have ridden this well. It’s just got a solid consistency to it that lets you feel you can handle doing just about anything with it.
