Soon enough I’ll be sliding sideways like the rest of the 10 people that read what I write here. What this means to me is a season of pow days, sunshine, jibbing, and product reviews and testing. I figured in the last few years I’ve gotten better and better at giving reviews but I could always look for more input from the people that value what I do for them.
Typically I’ve followed this as my standardized form for reviewing a board/binding.
Board: Year, model, size, binding used, and their year
Boot: Size, model, and if I had a lot of days on them
Conditions: Listing every possibly condition I rode it in
Stance: What the binding angles and width were set at
One word: A one word description of what I thought of the product
I then follow it up with a descriptive paragraph about how it rode for me.
Now the thing is I’m trying to figure out ways to make it better for the end viewer to establish how well and descriptive it is. I’ve had a few ideas of adding in something like a personal flex rating for myself vs what the company rates it at.
But I’m looking to you guys to see how a way to make it better for people looking for reviews. You can view my old reviews here.

maybe include a recommended use for the board…
i.e.
“this board will perform best in the terrain park, specifically with jibbing and smaller jumps”
you get the point holmes
Yeah I was thinking of putting down the category and what it excells at then comparing it to what else I thought it was good at.
