The Peace Process A Better Look
Now that summer has finally hit its last days and the kids are back in school it’s time for the official movies to start dropping and with that it means another fall of movie reviews till we’re all back on our shred sticks. While shops are still getting in their stock of the upcoming shred flicks, I Heart Snow Productions dropped their offering to the digital masses with a download for $4.20 last week. So what was good and bad about this flick and why should you risk your lottery money on a movie made by a smaller production company?
Well for most people 4 bucks is a drop in the hat, for others that 4 bucks could be 40 packs of ramen and feed them for a month. Well lets get down to the nitty gritty 4 bucks buys you the option to download it in HD for your computer as well as your Ipod and compared to say 30 that’s some serious saving.

Are there big names in it? Well I guess if you count Yale Cousino as a big name then maybe, otherwise you get future weatherman Sky Gale and other east coast notables along with some up and comers. Sure there are a few shots of Forrest Bailey at the Ride Shakedown for good measure.
Now lets look at the riding here. Don’t expect to see epic cliff drops and sweeping mountainous landscapes instead be prepared for urban domination. Sure some of the spots are played out because Videograss and a few other production companies decimated them last year, but the ones that aren’t open up some creativity on the riders parts for something new. Granted we’ll probably see these spots blown out in the next year or so. There’s one double but it’s filmed at an angle you can’t tell if it’s landed or not and a few random shots of some park jumps. Repeating his riding that was in Spill The Beans and Vitamins and Minerals is Bradley Hesson, kudos for him to have the same shots in 3 flicks, boo to the editor for not catching that.
The soundtrack flows with the editing pretty well and you get a mix from rap to hippy beats. While the filming is on par for a production companies sophomore movie. All in all it’s a buddies shred flick and I could say that those that like more obscure snowboard movies might dig it or if you’re from the east coast. But hey at 4 bucks who can really complain?

I thought brendon rego and mike rav were in it too?
Mike opens it I don’t remember Rego being in it then again it isn’t that memorable of a movie.
that Keenan Cawley kid rips… he’s only got a couple shots in the movie, but have seen him ride at Northstar and Alpine, and he kills it on everything from rails to kickers to cliffs… definitely keep an eye out for him over the next couple of seasons
