Camber Option: Directional C3. New age camber under foot with a flat section in the tips, with it being directional the flat section is longer in the nose than the tail.

Conditions: A mix of gray skies with pockets of blue, cold temps, 10 plus inches of fresh powder, chop, chunder, and a little ice thrown in for good measure.

Flex: Obviously this has a fully directional flex so what you get is a softer nose that stiffens up midway back to the front insert pack then it stays with that flex to right by the back insert and gets a little stiffer. The torsional flex is very abundant and you can twist this board however you want.

Stability: The nose gets a ton of flap in it and will buckle when you run into firmer snow or serious chop. The mid section back to the tail is a bit more stable and has that consistent damp ride that Lib boards are known for.

Ollies/Pop: This has a very rear foot dominate snap due to its shape. With that what you put in is what you’ll get out as I found it to not be an overly snappy board. It had enough to help porpoise the board in deep snow and pop a little off a roller or pillow popper but it wasn’t mind blowing.

Butterability: Won’t lie, was too busy smashing pow to bother trying to butter it.

Carving: I got this on a groomer and it was a bit washy. It’s got a slow engagement edge to edge and then when you drive your knee into the center of the board it doesn’t pick up any speed or power it just sort of stays locked in on edge. It’s really designed for deep days even if they claim it can rip carves. Mellow carves are kind of what it’s best at and what else would you expect from a deck that is designed for ripping pow?

Rider in Mind: Medium to deep day powder chaser.

Personal Thoughts: This board actually gave me back leg burn which was something I haven’t experienced with most pow decks I’m riding these days. The nose was super soft and just kept getting buckled around in the choppy snow but in fresh untracked it was amazing. This deck didn’t really stand out as being too overly amazing for what it is.
