Conditions: Overcast skies, moderate to high winds, warmer temps on the lower mountain with heavy pow, wet snow, and ice. With the upper mountain having blower powder, ice, and wind loaded areas.
Flex: This board is that middle of the road directional volume shifted deck where it’s not overly stiff but not a floppy noodle. You have a softer nose where the rocker is and then a stiffer mid section going back to the tail where it’s slightly stiffer. The torsional flex is highly abundant.
Stability: Most of the stability of this board comes from the wider frame and camber section through the contact points. The nose gets flap at high speeds and will bend back when hitting frozen death moguls or ruts. In really rutted out terrain it can get knocked around so be prepared for that.
Ollies/Pop: The camber section takes next to nothing to load up to engage the pop. When you load it up it snaps and you will notice right away how much boost this board has. It’s a deck that can launch off anything in its path.
Butterability: The nose rocker plays a huge part in how butterable this board is. You want to get your weight out over it and let it engage. While it’s easy to press on the camber section gives you some rigidity and wants to snap you out of any press. The tail is so small that it limits you to high speed wheelies.
Carving: What’s nice about this board is that it’s a surfy cruising carver. This board can rip a carve when you want it to. Unless you have a micro foot this board won’t be an issue to carve. You steer it outside the front foot while loading up the camber and then it drives from inside the front foot back when you’re railing a carve. Short quick turns are initiated with mellow ankle movements to steer it. When you want to get deep and low it takes next to no effort to drive it hard but you can get a lot out power out of the tail.

Personal Thoughts: This board is always a blast to ride. It does everything you want it to and then some. Nothings changed since the last time I rode it, or at least nothing was noticeable enough if it did change. It rips a carve when you want it. Pops hard if you need it. Plus it floats well in deeper snow in the trees and maintains its maneuverability.
