Conditions: Overcast skies, snow falling at time, cooler temps, fresh powder, corduroy, and chunder.
Flex: This board has a fully directional flex obviously and I would say that it’s slightly below a middle of the road. What you do get is more play in the nose then from insert to insert it stiffens up noticeably, and on the tail it’s every so slightly softer than the middle section. There is a fair amount of torsional give to it which makes it easy to steer and twist it.
Stability: That nose at speed gets a lot of flap, it also gets pushed around in ruts to the point you notice it under your front foot. The middle section is more stable but this board is lively so be prepared to keep those knees bent as it does get knocked around at high speeds in variable terrain.
Ollies/Pop: All the pop comes from your back foot so hopefully you didn’t skip leg day with your workout. Basically the more you put in the more you get out.
Butterability: That nose is like a spatula through fresh snow or even on a groomer. Pop around land on it with your weight way out and watch it lock in and hold. The tail is great for high speed wheelies.
Carving: It gets the job done but there are limitations. You can’t aggressively rail this thing over without the nose starting to kick out and buckle from it being softer than the main section of the board. Short medium carves are really its strong suit. Can you get low on it when you need to? Sure but you had better have a good idea of the terrain you’re on.

Personal Thoughts: I don’t know if softening up the nose was in the best interest of this board. It gets a little to floppy at speeds and doesn’t let you charge when you need to. Otherwise for what it is, this thing is solid.
