San Diego, California (March 4th, 2012)- Dye is proud to announce a partnership
with Tailgate Alaska as the official optic sponsor of Tailgate events.
5 years running Tailgate Alaska has become a “must-attend” event. An international
family of powder hounds, mountain enthusiasts, and die-hard riders unite in a
world-class setting in search of deep snow. The location of Tailgate events provide
riders easy big-mountain access via foot, snowmobile, cat, and helicopter, around
base camp are games and classes with emphasis on backcountry education.
Dye has produced a limited run of Tailgate T1 goggles exclusively for guests, and
VIPs of the event. Tailgaters will participate in beacon searches, and tailgate man
games for a chance to take home one of the custom Dye T1s. Dye Snow execs will
be on site along with Team riders Aaron Biittner, Bjorn Leines, and Ville Uotila
providing goggle demos, and riding with tailgaters.
This year marks the inaugural Tailgate BC event, taking place in Revelstoke BC.

Tailgate Alaska is held near Valdez, AK on Thompson Pass.
