If you’re from Colorado chances are you’ve heard about this movie, if you’re not then let me introduce you to Mistaken Productions flick for this year. It really is a showcase of some of Colorado’s native riders and while you won’t recognize all the names there’s definitely a bunch of stand out parts and a few tricks that will make you do a double take.
While over all it is a homies flick it’s still one that can’t be discounted as not having any value. If you like backcountry shredding or powder mini golf this has that for you. Double corks? Oh it’s got plenty. What it really lacks in though is solid urban riding especially when you consider a lot of the other flicks out on the market right now. Evidently Colorado riders can’t step to urban rails but can go hit a 90 foot booter of death.
The filming is rather hit or miss depending on who was filming, some is super solid, while other the angles have you questioning what they were going for. Was it being artistic or did they just not know where to stand? The music works with the riders segments and flows with the over all tone of the movie. As for the riders themselves it worked really well having segments with guest appearances from other riders that are also in this.
The big stand outs are the Willett brothers the amount of doubles they throw along with the crazy rotations just go to show what growing up in Summit County can do for you. Over all if you got 5 bucks you should check out the iPod download.
