It’s pretty amazing to think that snowboarding has finally come to the point where we have people wanting to do biographical films on top pros. Hell this year Mack Dawg did Double Decade, 20 years of snowboard flicks is HUGE.
This year we have Against the Grain the Tara Dakides story. I’m pretty sure this movie is going to fucking destroy and really show the life of one of the best female riders of all time. Knowing that Dawger has quit and is doing a Peter Line biography is fucking EPIC. If you think about it Dawger has more footage of Peter Line than anyone else and I can’t wait to see and hear everything that is about him.
But this video I found over on snowboard-mag really got me excited. I’ve been a fan of Todd Richards ever since I read P3 Parks, Pipes, and Powder. That book really showed the dedication Todd had to get to where he is. Its a pretty inspirational book I like to give to my friends and family so they can see why I choose to be a snowboard bum. Anyways Josh Landan with the Background Collective is working on Todds biography. Now I expect nothing but pure awesomeness since this movie will be about the guy that created the Awesome.
