Sessions Outerwear Chase Pant Used and Reviewed

It’s always fun to make one of our testers have matching gear. It’s even better when they look like a plum and are rocking a tight fitting jacket and low rise pants. Oh poor Zara she was just so sweet in these pants with the matching jacket. Here’s what she had to say about it.

Model: Zara Hickman

Garment: Sessions Outerwear Chase Pant

Resort: Breckenridge

Conditions: Sunny bluebird with preseason corn snow.

Size: Medium

Fit: First putting them on was a bit different because the pants are a female low rise. Realizing this before I got on the hill I made sure to install the trusty shoe lace to keep them from falling down. A nice material and the inside is fuzzy and well insulated in the right places.

Waterproofing/Breathability: 15,000mm/8,000gm

Stitching: Seemed fine, the pants are built for moving around and a loose fit so I don’t think they would be any danger of popped side seems or at the crouch.

Pockets: Pockets have that same amazing fleece lining that makes me wish every pair of gloves I owned had the same material in the inside. Front leg pockets were nice and deep so there was no bulging or cramping of items on the leg. Back pockets start low and also have decent room, although they have a jean look to them held down by a button so a bit hard to get in and out of them without taking your gloves off. Would have liked to have seen one or two mid leg cargo pockets since the pants were bagging enough to sustain these.

Zippers: Again, same as the jacket, kind of wished Sessions had put zipper ties on the zippers themselves, it made getting to my iPod or cell phone a little tricky inside the front pockets.

Venting: Standard mid leg vents which had to be opened during the sunny mid 30 degree day

Special/Hidden Features: Not really any real features, the pants are there to create a baggy look and to accessorize a specific jacket.

Rider in Mind: The chick that’s down with natural sag and likes to look as if she’s wearing jeans.

Personal Thoughts: Nice warm pants, although must caution the look of low baggy snow pants and tight figure fitting jacket, the shoe string was not quite the sufficient beltage that was needed. Thank you high rise spandex cycle shorts or all of the hill would have seen the moon which is not quite the look I really wanted to achieve.

What They Say: Sessions Chase Snowboard and Ski Pants, the perfect pant to go with all the sessions jackets
