Nitro Wiig and Raiden Eero bindings a better look

One of my coworkers really wanted me to get on this board and check out the sidecut. I’d first like to say I’m not Mandreas Wiig, I will never be Mandreas Wiig, I had a roomate once that looked like him, but that is probably as close as I will ever come.

Board: Nitro Wiig
Size: 156
Bindings: Raiden Eero
Stance: 22.8
Angles: 18 negative 15 goofy
Boots: K2 T1 DB size 10
My Weight: 165
Resort: Loveland
Conditions: Snowing, cold, and blustery
Mindset: I want to charge
Tunes: Judas Priest

Preconceived Notions: This is a board where I question not will I catch an edge but rather when will I catch my edge. I knew before hand this board was going to probably be a bit more than what I wanted.

Flex: Even flex a little bit stiffer but not so over the top.

Stability: Really stable at speeds and as I was told the faster you go the easier it is to ride it. This totally rang true.

Ollies/Pop: Had decent pop in the nose and tail. Off the edges was a bit rough for me but I think that might have to do with the aggressive sidecut.

Butterability: Not overly butterable for me, maybe in some pow it would rock.

Cruising: I knew I was going to catch my edge with this or at least wash out. This sidecut is insane its just something that is a bit too much for me. Its so twitchy and sensative it was crazy.

Jibbing: Not its strong suit for me, I just wanted to charge on it.

Rider in Mind: Andreas Wiig of course, or someone that wants something with an insane sidecut that is really sensative to carves.

Personal Thoughts: This board just isn’t for me. That sidecut is just not conduscive to my riding style these days.

Binding Compatibility: Softer than the board but still matched up pretty well for my style.

Binding Adjustability: They have great on the fly adjustments.

Straps: Didn’t crush my instep like the Wiigs which was nice. It gripped better for sure.

Highbacks: There’s that cosmetic piece in the highback right in the center, get rid of that thing it does nothing. Other than that they do their job, but I think they’re a tad bit shorter than they should be.

Binding Flex: Even and smooth.

Ratchets: Their ratchets are solid and don’t slip.

Rider in Mind: Someone that wants a solid all mountain binding.

Personal Thoughts: I think its pretty universal through their line up that I’ve found they don’t offer me enough dampening. Over all they do get the job done.

Power Ollies were definitely there it could get boost city. I’ve decided I need to drink more blood from virgins and eat lots of HGH so I can ride like Mandreas. He scares me.
