Lamar Click Used and Reviewed
What can be said about Lamar that someone probably hasn’t said already? Sure it’s been a pricepoint brand, sure they’ve had legends ride for them, and sure they’re trying to bring the brand back from retail hell. So yeah I could probably say something witty about this deck or I could just say go read the damn review make up your own mind about it and we’ll go from there.
Board: Lamar Click
Size: 154
Camber Option: Anti-Cam. Typical 3 stage rocker that starts 6cm’s back from the contact point giving a bit of rise.
Bindings: K2 Formulas
Stance: 22.5
Angles: 18 Negative 15 Goofy
Boots: K2 T1 DB size 10
My Weight: 165
Resort: Breckenridge
Conditions: Powder, hardpacked, over cast to sunny skies, pristine parks, hero snow, some trees, just a good variety of terrain.
Preconceived Notions: All I was informed was that Rob the CO Lamar rep was giving me what he dubbed the “pink” machine since it was a different graphic than the actual Click model. He said it’s a jibstick with anti-cam and to go nuts.
Flex: Stiffer than a jibstick that’s for sure. Bit of torsional give to it but stiffer laterally.
Stability: Insanely stable regardless of what kind of terrain you were in. This board was just a solid damp ride but not so damp it was dead.
Ollies/Pop: Not insanely poppy but still a good amount to give you a little boost where you needed it.
Butterability: It’s a three stage rocker so how do you think it was? Sure the stiffer flex took a bit more effort but the rocker almost negates it, almost.
Cruising: Railing a turn on this thing was a breeze and you could just dig in an edge and know you’ll be laying this carve all the way over without any issues. The sidecut is deep enough for hard turns and the anti-cam has it pre-bent in the arc perfectly well.
Jibbing: Not its strong suit but definitely gets the job done.
Rider in Mind: Jump/all mountain guy that wants a slightly stiffer flexing deck with alternate camber.
Personal Thoughts: For all around riding the mountain on days where I’ll be in and out of the park this thing is solid. Add to that on a nice pow day for its smaller size it didn’t disappoint and it’s actually a good quiver of one stunt stick. On a downside for most guys the pink probably turns them off for me it’s just funny oh and then there’s the stigma of you’re riding a Lamar which I suppose some people won’t get over. On a side note this board has found its way into my quiver thanks to Rob at Lamar. When I was riding some other companies decks I kept finding myself saying damn I really want to be riding my Lamar. Yeah weird I know.
What They Say: Geared towards a progressive jib and park shredder, the Click is a fast, tight ride but also has enough pop and response to be there when you really need it.

I find it pretty sweet that Lamar is actually making a quality deck again. Back in the day they were good boards until all the buying and selling of the brand happened…
So am I to assume you are a believer? If they can convince you I may just put some work into finding our local rep to give one a ride.
Let the board do the talking man the cap stuff is still crap but the rest is solid.
I ride for Lamar and love this board great for anything from 180s to double corks
