L1 Call To Arms Jacket A Better Look

L1 is by far my personal favorite outerwear company right now. Their cuts are very metal inspired and speak volumes about my personal style. When the offer came to get this jacket I took it knowing fully well this thing would be put to good use like all my others from them. This jacket is part of The Legacy Collection which lends itself to that classic L1 Style. Here’s what I had to say about this jacket.

Product: L1 Call To Jacket

Purpose: To cover your upper body and have some sweet style.

Fit: Tailored fit so it doesn’t look like you’re wearing a giant boat sail.

Features: Five external pockets, metal zippers, wrist gaiters, pit vents, zip out powder skirt, one internal pocket, elastic cuffs, and adjustable hood cinches.

Conditions: Blue bird park days to cold blowing snow and everything in between.

Pros: Lightweight with a longer slim cut which fits good on my tiny torso. The elastic wrist cinches easily pull over gloves. The front zip pockets on the chest are easily accessible and great for putting your cell phone, car keys, or crack rock in.

Cons: The tighter fit in the shoulders sometimes impeded movement when doing grabs. Also the rubber coating on the wrist gaiters wore off relatively quick.

Durability: Fifty plus days on this jacket and it’s still going strong.

Personal Thoughts: I love the weight of this jacket and the fit for the most part. It’s also highly stylish and stands out compared to everyone else in their neons. I wear this jacket every day that it’s not in the negatives and have spent countless hours lapping the park or riding trees in it with out any problems.

What They Say: Classic parka inspired jacket. Two exposed metal zips at the chest with contrast zipper tape. Underarm venting. Fully taped seams. Cut long with a slightly slimmer fit. L1 trim package.

angry, do you know if the xxl is longer than the xl or just bigger in the shoulders, chest, etc. What size would I need- 6’3″ 165?( I like mid thighish length)…. I have loved my AG coats but they do fit my skinny ass a little bit sail boatish.

  3. I don’t know the difference in XXL and XL lengths. I’m in a large and it comes down to my hips .
