Eternal Board Shop Closes Its Doors After 21 Years

By Angrysnowboarder @angrysnowboard · On April 3, 2015

Sparks, Nevada (April 2, 2015) – Eternal Board Shop is sadly closing its doors for good. Starting as a small shop in 1994 Eternal grew to a large snowboard and skateboard retailer, but 2015 will mark the end of an era.

“The snowboard business has been rough for the past several years,” says Michael Dunn, Owner Eternal Board Shop “the obvious lack of snow and severe drought of the last 3-4 years has hurt our winter business badly. Snowboarding used to be our bread and butter. Combine this with an all around sluggish economy and I was forced to make some hard decisions. Eternal just could not make it any longer. Sadly it was time to pull the plug.”

Eternal Board Shop has been a staple business in Sparks serving local snowboarders, skaters and anyone else for well over 18 years. In its hay day Eternal Board Shop operated 3 locations in the greater Reno area in addition to three online stores including eternalsnow.com.

Before Eternal Board Shop closes for good they are blowing out their remaining inventory. You can still find great clothing, shoes and more for up to 70% off. Heck you can even buy the fixtures and the posters right off the wall. They plan to stay open through April.

Eternal Board Shop really wants to say thank you to all of our loyal friends and family. All of you have made the last 21 years worth it and we really wish that we could continue on. THANK YOU!
