Bad Ideas review

Without a doubt this is a total Colorado movie. So many highlights of terrain parks in Summit County. I will say that the intro to this movie grabs attention from the first clip where it uses the start to the cartoon Good Idea/Bad Idea. The metal music also had my attention.

Are there any big names in this movie? Other than Chad Otterstrom and a few clips of Zac Marben in the bonus footage not really. Its just Slummit County kids representing, but I will give them credit that the footage while not super over the top is pretty stellar.

There is way too much tight pants action going on though. God people do you really need to wear tight pants just because you think it makes you look more “core” or cool? But the fact that the sound track actually fits with the film gives it bonus points along with the fact there was a super minimal amount of footage from locations utilized by other film companies.

What was nice about this film is that the riders really utilized all that Colorado has to offer, whether it was destroying house foundations that weren’t finished, the epic back country, or the Denver urban scene. There’s definitely an abundance of Signal and Forecast riders in this film. The Bonus features have the Forecast team session at Winter Park and the Sims photo shoot up at Echo Mountain. This movie is a tad on the longer side because everyone seems to have 5 plus minute section and the bonus features just keep on rolling and rolling.

Is this a banger rush out and buy movie? I would say not, but if you like watching guys having fun and making use of interesting jibs go for it. If you love Colorado then I would also recommend it.
