Meet Scott. Scott likes back rubs, bike porn, whiskey and Dirty Beaches. Sometimes Scott likes to get weird and we like that. This interview isn’t that weird well maybe it is, you should read it and decide for yourself.

This week I’m stepping out of the comfort zone just a bit and talking to exotic people from places with names I can’t even pronounce. Aleksi is from Jyväskylä, Finland. He dreamed of becoming a Meteor and probably enjoys American pop culture more than I do.
Nick Poohachoff or Pooch as he’s known around the snowboard world has had a slow and steady rise to prominence. His love of snowboarding runs as deep as his love for single moms in college. Today we gave him some questions with the stipulation that he only had 100 words to answer them with.
Sammy Spiteri is possibly one of the nicest guy’s in snowboarding. So nice in fact that I would destroy any and all little journalistic integrity I have for this guy. I once watched Sammy fight off an entire pack of wolves to save a wounded baby kitten. He then raised that kitten to be the […]
Sponzo lives in a bus with 18 other dudes for half of the season, you might have heard of this wild crew called the Gremlinz. He’s also one of Tahoe’s staple “dread heads”. When he’s not snowboarding you can find him giving lessons in how to party.
I know Katsu from working at Stinky Socks. What I didn’t know about Katsu is that he is fucking crazy, had worked in porn, and owns Gilaffe Snowboards. His love of snowboarding is only rivaled by that of Ramen noodles.
Matt put out a really solid part this last season in the Dinosaurs movie. Matt also bears an uncanny resemblance to comedian Jim Gaffigan. Conspiracy theories aside, Matt is an on point dude with some smooth moves.
Okay, I’ll admit Im a bit biased on this one as Niko is someone I regularly film and travel with every winter. I’ve watched this guy grow as a rider and climb the ladder over a few seasons and am continually impressed. Hands down my favorite ninja/jeweler/woodworker/snowboarder in all of Reno. I’d pull a giant […]
Gus has always had a unique style in snowboarding. It’s my personal opinion that Gus is owed some sort of an award for “Best Dressed Video Part” for his closer in Patchwork Patterns. Watching Gus change from his Hap-hazard hippie style into a slightly more refined version of Gus has been a pleasure to say […]
This year for the new 100 words interview series we plan to talk with people involved in the creation of companies within snowboarding as well as the riders. Risto runs Stinky, a snowboarding/skate Sock company based out of Bulgaria. While also being a fine connisuier of socks, like any eastern european Risto also enjoys political revolutions, The […]
