Now here we sit in the midst of the alternate camber revolution and they continue to keep updating their take on base theories. They’ve also always been a bit hilarious with their graphics. I have 2 boards. A 2009 Lib Skunk Ape BTX 162Wcm and a 2010 Bataleon The Jam 161W.
I bought them both solely on hype and the sick graphics(The are very little demo days in Vancouver that i had heard about). I gotta say the BTX was great for powder, and was all around fun to ride, but seemed kinda squirrley at high speeds . Once a rock ended the life of my skunk ape, i was searching for something new to try. I came across Bataleon under a good recomendation from the sales guy at Pacific Boarder in Vancouver. Riding my Bataleon was probably the best feeling on groomers i had ever had! i guess due to the TBT, this board carves likes i have never experienced before. Like it just locks into it like in was on rails…probably the most lay’d out carves i have ever done. The snow this year has been shit(Olympic curse) so i haven’t been able to put it through all types of conditions yet. But i can vouch for the catch freedom of the TBT and cause it still has camber, the pop is lively. I really like the magnatraction of the Lib.. The only think i think Bataleon needs is some sort of magnatraction.. or possibly a Zero camber option..

ohh man simon..if you check the design of us edition carefully than you will see like its a flout to all rocker boards..just look at the fucking hand aside of the sign rocker…yeah for it!

Great post angrySB! I’ve been on the verge of buying an Evil Twin all season but didn’t like the 2010 graphics. 2011 looks muchos better.
Any idea if the Evil Twin Classic and Evil Twin are only different in terms of graphics or whether the Classic is perhaps non-rocker??
