So here’s a deck that’s supposed to represent the youth blah blah blah of tomorrow blah blah blah. Either way it was a different ride than the Destroyer but that continuous rocker bull shit is just something that I can’t fathom why they would do it. Check it out.
Board: Forum Youngblood
Size: 156
Camber Option: Chilly Dog Rocker. A continuous rocker from tip to tail making it bent like your boyfriends penis.
Bindings: Forum Shaka’s
Stance: 22.5
Angles: 18 negative 15
Boots: K2 T1 DB size 10
My Weight: 165
Resort: Loveland
Conditions: Cold and crisp but still sunny and bluebird.
Preconceived Notions: Isn’t this board for kids that are trying to get sponsored or some shit.
Flex: Somewhere in the middle of the road but softer than the Destroyer.
Stability: Not as stable as the Destroyer but not as squirrelly as the Scallywag
Ollies/Pop: Not the poppiest deck on the planet but still do able. Wouldn’t say this was a high point with this deck.
Butterability: That continuous rocker lets you really get on the tips when you’re pressing around.
Cruising: This rolled on to edge easy but it didn’t have that feeling that the Destroyer had like it was a super convex base. Still chattery at higher speeds though.
Jibbing: Easy to get into pressed and locked in fairly well with jib sliders.
Rider in Mind: Someone that believes in Forum and wants a slightly softer mid flex that they could take on varying terrain.
Personal Thoughts: Eh not a deck I’d really recommend unless forced to. It honestly is just sort of there, I blame the trickle down Burton technology though.
What They Say: Progression lies at the very root of the Youngblood soul. The crew progresses riding and the board enables them to progress. So it only made sense to bring ChillyDog Continuous Rocker to this established street stick. Less on-edge hang-up and all the stability of a continuous rocker, translates to more stomped landings, more new tricks and a new Youngblood. Youngblood with Chillydog. What could be better?

Binding Compatibility: Could probably go on easier if it didn’t have so many moving parts.
Binding Adjustability: Oh hey look I remember when Burton introduced these micro adjustments.
Straps: Fat and padded with a crappy toe strap that has some crappy foam covering up the cover hole.
Highbacks: These things are monsterous, I mean really is there a need to have a highback that envelopes my boot? Other than that they do their job.
Binding Flex: Shaka Vibes it makes you feel the board more, eh my ass feels like an all mountain freestyle binding.
Ratchets: Oh man anyone remember when Burton first created the Cartel and some of those bindings, yeah these are those ratchets.
Rider in Mind: Someone that definitely believes the hype.
Personal Thoughts: Does this disk honestly do anything with its frigging hinge? Seriously I think it doesn’t do shit.
What They Say: Winner of Snowboard Magazine’s Platinum Pick award and SIA’s Industry Innovation of the Year Award- the Shaka, coupled with the Good Vibes hinge disc, provides a freer underfoot flex so you get more board feel. It’s easy to see how a chill surf session, a bearded guru and too much Zappa helped Forum techs see the light. Their idea to share the love with a fully-padded free-flowing binding for a four-hole pattern was genius and is why bros and brahs can now experience a state of heightened shredness with the Shaka.

Hey man, was thinking about picking one of these up as a jibbing board.
I am quite interested in a reverse camber/rocker board.
My ideal choice would be the Evo-R but unfortunately I can’t get my hands on one at the moment. Could you recommend some rocker/RC jibbing boards that you like?
Thanks.

Just dig through the reviews you’ll see what’s good or what’s not.
