Posted by Angrysnowboarder On November - 30 - 2009

Jackson Hole is an area of the world that is home to some serious names in the snowboard world. You have Guch, Travis Rice, Mark Carter, and many more rippers of that caliber. John Makens is one of those rippers who also wears the hat of business owner. Here’s a look at a man you have probably on heard of in passing. Read the rest of this entry »

Forum Scallywag with Shakas my take

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On November - 29 - 2009

Perhaps snowboarding pirates will be the hot new trend on the hill this year.  After all we have guys twisting bottle caps into their flowing locks and others tying dream catchers to their goggles. Well if that’s the case then here’s the deck they’ll rock. Check out my take on Forums reverse cambered jib stick. Read the rest of this entry »

So here’s a deck that’s supposed to represent the youth blah blah blah of tomorrow blah blah blah. Either way it was a different ride than the Destroyer but that continuous rocker bull shit is just something that I can’t fathom why they would do it. Check it out. Read the rest of this entry »

Snowboarding E-Commerce Would You?

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On November - 25 - 2009

Who hasn’t had a bad shopping experience in a snowboard store? I have, you probably have, and chances are someone you know has. It’s something that we probably all have in common as both snowboarders and consumers. Whether it’s the too cool “core” shop kid attitude or the cluelessness of the staff at a big box store. On the other side how many of you have had great experiences in shops? Now think about that experience long and hard, did the individual really interact with you and genuinely care? Forum Destroyer and Shaka’s my take

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On November - 24 - 2009

I’ve never been a fan of Forum even back in the day always thought they were an over hyped brand that was driven by the fact of who they had as riders and not what they offered. Well now they actually have some technology albeit highly borrowed. Here’s my take on how their board and bindings rode. Read the rest of this entry »

A place that has created common park features that are used world wide like the “box”. Bear Mountain definitely solidifies itself as the grandfather of creativity and forward thinking progressive park features and for that anyone that has ever ventured into an orange pill area owes them a debt of gratitude.
