A Summer At Woodward

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On July - 29 - 2010

This past summer I spent it working at the newest snowboard camp Woodward at Copper Mountain in Colorado. Easy choice to apply to since it was a mere 10 miles from my apartment. Now many people have asked what goes on down at Woodward and what the camp is about. The best way to sum that up is to showcase all the videos from this past summer shot by Forrest Miller of 4Reel Media. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s All Fun and Games At Woodward

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On July - 22 - 2010

The original plan was for the Intern and I to host an on hill event for the kids to give them some stoke, toss out an abundance of stickers, and throw few prizes to the kids for killing it on a obstacle course of my design. What was even cooler was Pat Milberry, Reed Silberman (from InkMonster), and the So Gnar crew changed their on hill day so it over lapped us. Being that Pat is the master promoter we were able to do double duty and get creative with keeping the kids happy. Read the rest of this entry »

Arbor Snowboards at Snow Summit

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On July - 12 - 2010

This past year I got to go to Snow Summit where some of the best park riding of my formative teenage years was filmed with Mack Dawg. 10 years later the place still had a solid park and the spring slush was in full effect. At the same time Arbor Snowboards went there and slayed the park and filmed what went down. Here’s that video. Read the rest of this entry »

Monument Wants To Get You Drunk!

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On June - 9 - 2010

So the seasons over but that doesn’t mean it’s not to early to claim preseason status according to the guys at Monument. Yeah I know you probably read about this on Yobeat but since Dave Tran is a cool dude I’ll definitely post this up for him in the rare off chance someone over on the old coast hasn’t seen this. The Brocal Journey: A Day at Bear Mountain

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On April - 24 - 2010

Any day you get to shred is a glorious day as you’re out there away from it all having fun and keeping your mind away from reality. Now when you get to shred in Southern California sunshine at a mountain that boasts top to bottom park features things are surely going to be jubilant. With a promise of having one of the best parks in this country Lou and I headed up to do that snow sliding thing. Read the rest of this entry »

The Brocal Adventure Part One

Posted by Angrysnowboarder On April - 15 - 2010

For 20 years Bear Mountain has pushed park progression to the limits with creativity and ingenuity. Having had an invite to Ms. Superpark (later to be rescinded) I booked my ticket figuring fuck it, I was going to bare witness to a level of park progression that most resorts still won’t step to. After a few major arrangements the trip was set in motion and with Lou G from Deserts Don’t Snow as my guide, park shenanigans were going to ensue. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again if you’re a serious park rider Bear Mountain needs to be in your top  5 parks to visit. Read the rest of this entry »
