Conditions: Sunny blue skies, warm temps, minimal wind, and perfect hero snow conditions.
Flex: A middle of the road flex that is playful yet powerful. It has a little more give in the tips then stiffer under foot, and the perfect amount of flex between the feet both laterally and torsionally.
Stability: This board is playful yet stable when it needs to be. You do get bounced around from time to time in the severe chop but for a board like this that is to be expected.
Ollies: With having traditional camber back in this board you can really load it up and snap. The boost out of this deck is great as it just wants to pop.
Pop On Jumps: This board is at home on jumps with the perfect balance of snap, flex, and camber. Hit whatever sized feature you want.
Butterability: The softer flex and blunt shape of the board in the tips gives an ample platform to lock into butters. Press hard or soft, it’s all on you as the rider as to what you want to get out of this board.
Jibbing: This board is at home on rails, boxes, tubes, and everything else in the park. It presses with ease but still has snap, it locks in to slides but won’t hang up, over all it just wants to have a fun time.
Carving: There are boards you can rip harder carves on out there on the market. But this board has just the right blend of flex, camber, and sidecut to satiate your need to rip an aggressive turn from time to time. It locks in and pushes through the turn with ease. Edge to edge initiation is smooth and simple.
Rider in Mind: The well rounded park rider that will do it all but wants a playful yet lively deck to do it on.
Personal Thoughts: Bringing camber back to this board was a smart move. It gives a certain level of precision that wasn’t there in the previous models. If you’re looking at a deck that can do it all and still give you the playful feel you want then this is it. The camber isn’t so overwhelming you spend all day loading and unloading it to do what you want.
