Board: Jones Hovercraft

My Weight: 177lbs
Resort: Arapahoe Basin
Conditions: Mix of sun and clouds, a bit of fresh snow, and colder than normal temperatures.
Flex: This board has that standard directional flex you would expect from the shape, softer nose, stiffening up under foot through the middle, and then just a hair stiffer tail.
Stability: This board plows through chop and chunder with ease. At speeds on groomers you will feel a little bit of vibration but it’s not enough to dissuade you from charging harder.
Ollies/Pop: All the pop comes out of the back foot off the small tail. You have to really load it up to get it to do what you want.
Butterability: Won’t lie, didn’t really try all too hard with this board due to the cut off tail. You can do tail slappy’s and ride around with the nose elevated. Doing a nose butter, well that might take a bit more effort.
Carving: Railing hard Eurocarves this board just digs in and pushes it to the next level. It goes wherever you want it to and doesn’t wash out. Short quick turns or long drawn out ones, have fun when you’re not floating atop fresh snow.
Rider in Mind: The guy that’s riding more pow than groomers but still needs a board they can carve with.
Personal Thoughts: I like how this board floats it gets on top relatively quick and then it stays there. It’s got quick maneuverability that makes it unrivaled by others in its class. It’s pretty diverse too for when you get it on a groomer and need to rip turns.
Comparable Boards: Rome Blur, Venture Euphoria, K2 Party Platter
