2010 Annual Review

It’s that time of year again when the bull-wheels will start churning and people will embrace the white ribbon of death in hopes of getting a few turns in before the snow really begins to fly. With the season right around the corner from us it’s also time to put all the reviews up from this past season in one place and pick a few notable stand outs as awesome pieces of gear people should look at.

Everything is broken down by company and model alphabetically after that it says which year it was whether it was last seasons or this current one. Hopefully by putting all these in one place for you, you’ll be able to compare the last years to the current years and what not. Just remember different strokes for different folks so not everyone is going to be on the same page as me with why I liked or disliked certain models. Go try shit yourself and figure it out if you can, if you can’t ask around take it all in from multiple places.

As for highly notable boards I’ve ridden I’d say that for freeriding hard charging the Never Summer Heritage took the cake that board was awesome to ride and I’d recommend that board to any die hard guys into charging. When it comes down to all mountain decks the two that have gotten the most days out of my quiver are the Arbor Coda and the Ellis Eecco. As for park the new Rome Artifact Rocker is fucking money and of course I love the Omatic Extr Eco BS and spent more days on that deck than any other I’ve owned and will probably get the Extr Txtr or Celebrity BS to replace it this year. When it comes down to bindings the new Rome 390′s are possibly the best binding I’ve used to date.

  1. TW says:

Ellis Eecco or Arbor Coda for strictly pow days? Which one feels more comfortable landing larger jumps / drops with?

  2. Well the Coda I have is bigger than the Eecco I’ve ridden both in pow and they both rock. I’d probably go Eecco though just by a hair if I had to.
