Year in Review

So another year comes to an end and we aimlessly lumber along towards the fate that awaits us in the year 2012. With all this talk about the future, end of the world, global cooling, and what have you I felt it’s time to take a look back at the year that was. Yes everyone [...]

Recco actually works

So chances are if you bought new outerwear, boots, or diamond encrusted goggles recently you’ve seen the Recco tag on some piece of snowboarding apparel. Maybe you’ve asked yourself what the hell is this thing and what does it do? Maybe you’ve said I’m paying more for something that’s probably fossilized annodized pixie shit. Either [...]

Salomon Answer and Codes a closer look

Here’s a board that’s going as green as possible and still slaying it. Last year it had camber this year it has none. If you want a deck that is more environmentally friendly and still slays it this could be a contender for you.

Nitro Sub Zero with Wiigs a closer look

Last year it was the limited release Sub Pop that was turning peoples heads. Well this year they changed the name, gave it a more pink graphic, and kept it the same. Here’s a look at a deck I’ve ridden before that’s virtually unchanged.

White Lies and French Fries

If you want to see some guys get gnar in the terrain park this is the movie for you. Some of the crazier looking doubles I’ve seen in the land of mini shred. Either way it’s not a bad flick so give it a go and have a happy holidays.

Noah Salasnek Powder and Rails

Do you know who Noah Salasnek is? How about Mike Ranquet or Chris Roach? Episode two of Powder and Rails is out right now and anyone that butters, jumps, or is into freestyle should pay homage to a man that gave snowboarding the style it has today.
