Forum really has an interesting history with snowboarding. Honestly I haven’t ridden anything from them since the year we sold them in our shop and while hand flexing them the die cut would pop out. That was a great year for Forum.
After finishing up on the Riot, Jay and I headed back to Salomon to snag another board. I talked with the reps and said I wanted something stiffer. In turn they pulled out a in the wrapper Bang Bang for me to rock.
Day two of the Loveland demo’s started off at Salomon. Wanting something softer to warm up with and jib I ended up on the Riot with the Codes.
Seriously what the hell is this shit? No jibbing or bonking stuff outside the terrain park?
I actually own this board but in a 156. At the time when I picked it that was the largest size available and I didn’t think they’d offer a 161 after I had signed up for Kamp K2. Now that I’ve had the chance to rock the 161 I figured I’d give it a whirl.
Everyone should have a day like this. Wake up not a care in the world and knowing you’re going to ride with some good friends.
While we’ve had snow sliding here for a while in CO. I’m super excited for my friends back home to get their shradicalness on. With a 28 inch dump earlier this week looks like the Valley will be opening Thursday.
I rode this board back in early February and I wasn’t overly impressed then. But I’ve noticed now with the more rockered boards I’ve ridden that maybe I wasn’t fully in tune with how it rode. So I’ve ventured back to take another look at it.

Just talked to Bob one of the filmers, creators, distributors, editors, etc. etc. of Almost Homeless. You might remember their trailer I posted earlier. Anyways looks like this week they’ll be having a premier in Vail that should go better than the one in Breckenridge.
